SICRS was established in 2018 as a constituent unit of Shahida Islam Medical Complex, Lodhran, and is offering HEC recognized 5-Years degree program of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).

Physical therapy primarily emphasizes the prevention, development, and restoration of optimal function and quality of life. Physical therapists provide health care services to alleviate pain; prevent the development and progression of impairment, functional limitation resulting from trauma or diseases; and restore, maintain, and improve movement, activity, functioning, general body fitness, and health-related quality of life (APTA,2011). They work in the health domains of promotion, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
