Heartiest welcome to all at Shahida Islam College of Pharmacy (SICP) which is established in 2020 as part of one of
the good things happening in the year of pandemic. Pharmacy plays a vital role in the health care system. It is the
discipline responsible for the provision of all medicines of a country. Pakistan needs highly competent pharmacy
professionals to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Keeping in view this perspective, we are determined to
prepare pharmacy graduates who can play an effective role in producing the medicines and their safe utilization to
the patients.
Pharmacists play an essential role in the various health care sectors like hospitals, primary care facilities, community
pharmacies, regulatory agencies, and the pharmaceutical industry. The mission of Shahida Islam College of
Pharmacy is to provide an excellent education in various domains of pharmacy discipline. To achieve our mission, we
apply innovative and proven educational methods to produce pharmacists who possess the skills and knowledge
they need to serve their patients in an ethical and professional manner and make available the best possible care for
the ailing humanity.
The curriculum adopted has the necessary requirements of the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan and the latest
development taking place in the field of pharmacy globally. Our academic program is affiliated with the University of
Sargodha. We will make every effort to create an excellent teaching-learning environment and see that the students
will be able to unfold their potential, closely interact with the faculty and visiting scientists from the pharmaceutical
industry from time to time and participate actively in various extra-curricular activities.
SICP should be committed to the extension of the pharmacy profession and preparing tomorrow’s leaders to serve
the nation’s needs best. I extend the warmest welcome to all the future students in our Pharm-D (Doctor of
