Shahida Islam College of Pharmacy (SICP) is the first institution to start a
Pharm-D degree program in the private sector in Southern Punjab.
Pharm-D is a 5-year degree program which will help fulfill the still unfulfilled
demand for trained pharmacists across South Punjab and Pakistan. At SICP
we are committed to excellence and innovation in education and research.

Pharmacy is a science-based health profession concerned with medicines
and their proper use in patients to treat and prevent disease. The foremost
aim & objective of SICP is to impart education of the highest quality
besides the character building, so as the students have knowledge and skill
of next level and they are groomed to have a sense of responsibility and
dedication for the ailing humanity’s welfare.
The Pharm-D program takes an integrated approach to learn the sources
and design of drugs, the formulation of different dosage forms, the action
of these drugs on the body, and the therapeutic management of the
medicines in patients. The study programs and courses have been designed
to fulfill the current needs regarding professionalism, marketability,
employability, and entrepreneurship.
In our innovative Pharm-D program, we integrate the pharmaceutical with
clinical therapeutics and patient care to meet the needs of the next
generation of pharmacists in all sectors – community, primary care, hospital,
industry, regulatory, and academia. We seek students committed to making
a difference in people’s lives through the discovery, design, delivery, and
rational use of medicines.
